Iman Khamis

Iman Khamis is Technical Services Librarian at NU-Q Library. Before joining NU-Q Library she was working at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt. Over the last ten years she held several positions from Arabic Cataloger to Senior Technical Services Librarian at Alexandria Library, which includes creating metadata for library different resources, providing reference, resources selection, database management, and training staff. She has a BA in biological and geological sciences, and MA in library & information science from the University College London, Qatar. Her research interests include bioinformatics, information management in medical field, information use in different cultures, RDA, Library Information Systems and Web 2.0 in libraries.
