Aaleeya Spence

Aaleeya Spence is the face of the Office of Student Affairs and is the main point of contact for all inquiries. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she has a BA from Portland State University (2006) and an MA from Georgetown University (2009) in communication studies with a focus in intercultural communication. During her university education, she played a heavy hand in student affairs while also holding the multicultural affairs director post for the Student Government Organization. A self-identified “jill-of-all-trades,” she has worked in civil defense law, commercial development, animal rescue and adoption, television media for National Geographic and Al Jazeera English, ESL, theater arts and equestrian education. Aaleeya has been a staff member at NU-Q since May 2011.
