Michelle Telafici has over 20 years of higher education experience, including 15 years in academic advising and post-secondary administration. She began her career as a lecturer and academic adviser at Kuwait University and served as an educational consultant for Kuwait’s Ministry of Education. Prior to joining NU-Q in 2008, Telafici was the Bernard A. Newcomb Internship Coordinator and Academic Adviser at Oregon State University’s College of Business. She is an International Coaching Federation professional certified coach, an MBTI® certified practitioner and holds an MEd in teaching English as a second language and adult education. She is also a part-time student at Seton Hall University where she is completing an EdS in counseling and an MA in school counseling. Telafici specializes in coaching, student retention, student development and academic advising.
